Robert D. Berger Sr., 86, of North Catasauqua, died Oct. 16, 2025, at his home. He was the husband of the late Martha S. Berger.

Born in Weissport, he was the son of the late Nelson and Rose Berger.

He was employed by the former Bath Cast and Metal forging company for 20 years. He then worked for more than 18 years with Scheuermann Excavating.

He was an avid train collector and spent many years collecting, rebuilding and making trains.

He is survived by three daughters, Debra Christman and fiance Steve, Doris Brady and husband Craig and Donna Fenstermaker and boyfriend Joe; a son, Rodney D. and wife Cindy; nine grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and eight great-step grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a son, Robert D. Jr.
