Karin Ursula (Janssen) Wahlstrom, 84, of Allentown, died Oct. 13, 2025.

Born in Nuernberg, Germany, she came to America at the age of 11 with her mother and sister.

She attended Sacred Heart Academy in Rochester, N.Y.

She was an airline stewardess for Pan American World Airways and flew for 25 years. She spoke several languages and made the announcements for passengers in four different ones.

She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Allentown. where she led a rosary group twice a week for 30 years.

She played piano, accordion and guitar and sang.

She is survived by Jan Christian Wahlstrom, Hildegard K. Janssen, Christiane Selvini, Petra Kierner and family, Edith Zimmerman and family and the de Jong family.

There will be a calling time 10 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial 11 a.m., Oct. 24 at the church, 1046 W. Cedar St., Allentown, 18102.

Contributions may be made to the church.
