Congratulations to the 10 Catasauqua Middle School students who participated in the statewide STEM competition Oct. 14 at Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit 21. The goal was to create a product that would help to change or enhance the classroom environment in schools.

The team from grades 5-6 placed first for the Allergy Fix project. The team from grades 7-8 created Teacher 2.0.

• Oct. 29: Team up against drugs — wear your favorite team logo.

• Oct. 30: Celebrate a long life; live drug free — dress like your future successful self.

• Oct. 31: Boo Bash — wear your Halloween costume.
