CANDLE MASS: Each year, Bethlehem Catholic celebrates a special Candle Mass, a beautiful tradition honoring the memory and love of family and friends. This year’s Candle Mass is Thursday, Nov. 13. FOUNDER’S DAY: Oct. 22, 8:30 a.m., Swain Campus celebrates the anniversary of founding D. Esther Swain school in 1929. Families are welcome into the school for special presentations in the McCann Center where students give musical performances, attendees learn the history of the Swain School and a pinning ceremony is performed for the kindergarten class. A tree planting ceremony will be held outside to commemorate D. Esther Swain’s love of trees.
