Jeffrey M. Rogers, 72, of Fountain Hill, died of cancer on October 10, 2025. Born in Pittsburgh, he was a son of Larry Rogers and MaryAnne (Milligan) Anderson. Hefwas the husband of Sharon Rogers.
He was a medic in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.
He earned a degree in computer science in Florida.
He worked various jobs including driving an ice cream truck while attending nursing school in North Carolina. He had an opportunity with Genographics and lived and and worked in Holland and Europe. He lived later in Bethlehem Township and was a City of Bethlehem Police Officer for 20 years. He was a member of Platoon 2 and was a detective and training officer. After retirement, he drove trucks for J.B. Hunt and student buses for Lehigh University.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Rogers; a son, Nicolas and partner Whitney Rogers; a granddaughter, Layla Rogers; a daughter, June Rogers and her life partner; a stepdaughter, Charlotte DeLong and spouse Gregory; a sister, Roberta Rogers; a niece, Lela Anne Rogers-Whitson; a sister, Carol Rogers and spouse, Robert Frederick; a nephew, Lukas Rogers; two nieces, Polly and Hillary; and a special aunt, Marilyn Rosenblatt Strauss.
