Zuzel Celeste Rodriguez, 82, of Northampton, died Oct. 5, 2025, at her home. She was the wife of the late Ruben J. Rodriguez.

Born in Santiago, Cuba, she was the daughter of the late Raul and Celeste Llano Herrera.

She was last employed in the dietary department at Sacred Heart Assisted Living, Northampton, for more than 10 years before retiring. Earlier, she worked as a cashier for the ACME, Whitehall, for more than 10 years. Before ACME, she owned her own childcare center — Mother’s Little Helper — on Union Boulevard, Allentown, for four years.

She is survived by a daughter, Jeanette Marakovits and husband Scott of Northampton; and a son, Reuben of Northampton; five grandchildren; Michael, Thomas, Nicholas, Megan and Jacob; two great-grandchildren, Nicholas Jr. and Meadow; and a brother, Raul Herrera of Arecibo, Puerto Rico.

She was predeceased by an older brother, Luis Herrera.
