Rhynier B. Minnich
Rhynier B. Minnich, 92, of Stiles and a longtime resident of Fellowship Community, Whitehall, died Oct. 8, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Adriana K. (Berger) Minnich for 63 years.
Born in Slatington, he was a son of the late Perry J. and Anna M. (Davies) Minnich.
He retired as a corporate budget analyst after 43 years at Pennsylvania Power and Light Company, Allentown.
He was a member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, Whitehall, where he served on church council, sang on the choir for decades and was council secretary, church treasurer and co-chair of the craft fair and quilt sale.
He was a past commander of Allen O. Delke Post 16 American Legion in Slatington; past 14th District adjutant for the Pennsylvania American Legion; past president, board member and secretary of Allen O. Delke Post Home Association; past president and treasurer of Exchange Club of Whitehall; and former coordinator for the Miss Lehigh Valley Scholarship pageant. He also volunteered at Lehigh Valley Hospital and American Red Cross of the Greater Lehigh Valley.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mindy Minnich Conrad and husband Dr. Donald Conrad of Clearfield and Tonia J. with husband Dean Bartholomew of Dingman’s Ferry; two grandsons, Casey R. Conrad of Clearfield and Grant D. Bartholomew of Whitehall; and three sisters-in-law, Nancy, Barbara Scheirer and Janet.
He was predeceased by six brothers, Perry, Howard, Bruce, Dale, Wallace and Glenn; and two sisters-in-law, Jean Kuhnert and Marie.
Funeral services are set for 12:30 p.m. Oct. 19 at the church, 3355 MacArthur Road, Whitehall, 18052.
