Whitehall Township Public Library is offering one-on-one appointments with a certified Medicare enrollment counselor. Time slots are 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. Mondays Oct. 20-Dec. 1.

You can get free, personalized help with enrollment or other questions that you might have.

Register now for fall storytimes at the library. Preschool storytime is 1:30 p.m. Wednesdays, and toddler storytime is 11 a.m. Thursdays.

The fall basket raffle will be Oct. 24-Nov. 1. The library is currently accepting donations of gift cards, baskets and new items to fill baskets.

The ticket presale continues until Oct. 23.

Join us for Hallow-Read noon Oct. 25. Kids can come in for food, games and crafts run by our Teen Advisory Board.

Costumes are encouraged.

Lehigh Valley Haunts will be 6:30 p.m. Oct. 28. Local dark-side storyteller Ellen Flynn will join us again to tell us some local tales.

It’s the perfect time of year to hear some spooky tales about some local haunts!

Day of the Dead skull painting, for teens in grades 6-12, is planned for 1 p.m. Nov. 1. Learn about Día de Los Muertos while painting ceramic sugar skulls.

Space is limited, so registration required.

The library has a number of clubs that meet monthly.

The book club for adults meets 1 p.m. the first Thursday of every month. Come and discuss what you’re currently reading.

The coloring club for adults meets 11 a.m. the first and third Thursdays and 5:30-7:30 p.m. the first Tuesday.

The Good Yarn group meets for knitting, crocheting and other needle crafts 6 p.m. the third Tuesday of the month.

The Death Cafe, a group-directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes, meets 6:30 p.m. the third Monday.

The library’s regular hours are 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
