Miguel A. Nieves, 69, of Bethlehem, died Oct. 4, 2025. Born in Puerto Rico, he was a son of the late Miguel Angel Nieves Maldonado and Natvidad Colon. He was the husband of Maria (Vazquez) Nieves for more than 50 years.

He owned and operated Maldonado’s Cleaning for more than 20 years.

He was a member of Smyrna Church of the Lord, Bethlehem. He was active in his church and his South Bethlehem community.

He is survived by three children, Alex and his wife Paola, Arelis and her husband Jose Rivera and Javier; a sister, Myra; 11 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a son, Miguel A. Nieves; and three siblings.

Arrangements were made by Cantelmi Funeral Home Inc., Bethlehem.
