Zahmire Welcome, 27, of Whitehall, has been convicted in the 2018 killing of a young man in Bethlehem. Attorney General Dave Sunday has announced a Northampton County jury conviction of first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder and kidnapping.

Welcome is one of four “Money Rules Everything” gang members charged in the killing. He faces a mandatory life in prison term when he is sentenced Jan. 14, 2026.

In April of 2018, police found 18-year-old Tyrell Holmes stabbed in the neck and chest and set on fire in the Dumpster outside a Westside apartment building
