Edward Richard Dreisbach Sr., 88, of Bethlehem, died Oct. 4, 2025, in his home. Born in Fountain Hill, he was the son of the late Wilmer and Mary T. (Repasch) Dreisbach. He was the husband of Sandra Jean (Cope) Dreisbach for 66 years.

He was a graduate of Fountain Hill HS. He was a member of the “Hillers” who won the first of three consecutive boys’ basketball District 11 titles and reached the PIAA Class B state final for the 1955-56 season.

He was an inspector of steam fittings and a driver for Sarco for many years before retiring.

He was a member of the Blue Mountain League Hall of Fame and the St. Louis Cardinals organization. He was a PIAA/NCAA official and a member of the Salisbury Youth Association. In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Mary Gibiser and her husband David of Bethlehem, Edward R. Jr. and his wife Ericka of Macungie, Lynda Stout of Bethlehem and Debra Cavaiuolo and her husband Domenico of Whitehall; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by two siblings, Earl Dreisbach and Frances Mary Blaukovitch; and a grandson.
