Start With Hello Week continues until Oct. 17 at Catasauqua Middle School.
Start With Hello is a Sandy Hook Promise initiative that helps schools create and maintain a positive social climate that rejects bullying and social isolation through encouraging students to look out for each other and embrace a welcoming environment by building relationships with their peers.

The next CMS parent teacher forum meeting will be 6 p.m. Oct. 21 in the media center.

There will be early dismissal Oct. 22 during homecoming week. CMS students will be dismissed 12:20 p.m.
Homecoming week is Oct. 20-24. The football game is set for 7 p.m. Oct. 24.

Red Ribbon Week is set for Oct. 27-31. There will be themed dress-up days for CMS students all week.
• Oct. 27: REaDy to live drug free — wear red
• Oct. 28: Sock it to drugs — wear crazy socks
• Oct. 29: Team up against drugs — wear your favorite team logo
• Oct. 30: Celebrate a long life; live drug free — dress like your future successful self
• Oct. 31: Boo Bash — wear your Halloween costume
Red Ribbon Week is an awareness campaign to keep youths drug free.

The end of the first quarter will be Oct. 29. The second quarter begins Oct. 30.

Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania is inviting girls to join Scouts to help increase their curiosity, sense of adventure, confidence and more.
