Bruce L. Carl, 60, of Emmaus, died Oct. 3, 2025, in his residence. He was the partner of Todd B. Shafer. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Gloria T. (Reese) Carl and James M. Carl Sr.

He was a member of many social clubs including Citizens Fire Co. #2, Emmaus.

In addition to his partner, he is survived by siblings, Patricia T. and her husband, Ralph Breinich, of Emmaus, Jeanette A. and her husband, Dennis Madaya, of Walnutport, Deborah J. Bloxham-Hamel, of The Villages, Fla., Cynthia L. Polster and Butch Merritt of The Villages, Fla., Kathleen L. Glatly and Paul Abdalla, of Vera Beach, Fla., James M. Jr. and Donna, of Somerfield, Fla., Neil C. and Joanne, of Emmaus.

A graveside service will be held 11:30 a.m. Oct. 15 in Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown.
