Schools will be closed in Catasauqua Area School District Oct. 13 in observance of Columbus Day. Schools will reopen and classes will resume Oct. 14.

Lehigh Career and Technical Institute will also be closed Oct. 13 and will resume Oct. 14.

CASD Board of Education meetings are scheduled for 7-8:30 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month. Meetings are held in the board room located at the school district administrative offices, 201 N. 14th St., Catasauqua.

The next meeting will take place Oct. 14.

The Catasauqua High School fall concert is set for 7-8:30 p.m. Oct. 15 in the high school auditorium.

All CHS seniors will have a cap and gown assembly in the school auditorium 8-8:45 a.m. Oct. 16.
