Whitehall Fire Department’s annual Haunted Hayride in the Parkway continues 7-11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays through Nov. 1. The Haunted Hayride is located at Whitehall Parkway, 4689 S. Church St.

There is a cost. All proceeds benefit the fire department.

Haunted Parkway trick or treat will be held 2-5 p.m. Oct. 11 at Whitehall Parkway. Fun family activities include face painting, music, food, a basket raffle and mini cows.

Kids in costume are admitted free. There is a cost for adults.

Whitehall Township Recreation Department is planning an adult bus trip to Jim Thorpe, scheduled for Oct. 19. The bus will depart 9 a.m. from Whitehall Parkway, 4689 S. Church St. The bus will leave Jim Thorpe 4 p.m.

Residents must register at the township municipal building, 3219 MacArthur Road, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
