Gail A. Schneider, 82, of Bethlehem Township, died Sept. 25, 2025, at Kirkland Village. Born in Fountain Hill, she was a daughter of the late Leonard and Ann (Tichy) Achey. She was the wife of the late Robert J. Schneider.

She was an office manager at the Bethlehem YMCA. She was involved with the Cub and Boy Scouts and the United Cerebral Palsy. She was the first woman elected as president to the Board of Directors of the Freemansburg Bethlehem Township Athletic Association (FBTAA). She was a lifelong member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Pennsylvania State Police.

She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, Bethlehem, Township.

She is survived by a son, Michael R. of Bethlehem Township.; a sister: Dianne (Nicholas) Zumas of Bath; and a sister-in-law, Marlys Achey of Spokane, Washington.

She was predeceased by a son, Robert J. Schneider, Jr., a brother, Leonard Achey and a sister-in-law, Regina Achey.
