Both Northwestern cross country teams went 4-0 in last Thursday’s meet at Southern Lehigh, which is run on the DeSales University course where league and district championships are also run.

Rosie Nestor led the Tigers with a first-place finish in the girls race. Katie Furman (15th), Ava Smedstad (23rd), Amber Carl (26th) and Charlotte David (27th) made up the rest of the Tigers’ top five at the meet.

In the boys race, Noah Grffith finished fourth to lead the Tigers. Teammate Brady Furman (ninth) also finished in the top 10, while teammates Kieran Baker (14th), Chase Seither (18th) and Jonathan Fornauf (20th) made up the rest of the Tigers’ team score.

Northwestern’s girls team improved to 10-4 this season while the boys team is now 11-3.
