He tends to keep to himself as he can be intimidated by the other stronger personality cats. He appreciates petting and attention from the shelter volunteers. He will be an excellent companion who will happily join you for quality time. A low activity household would be ideal for this handsome hunk. Scoops is a very good boy who deserves a wonderful, loving home.Scoops is about 3 years old, healthy, neutered, vaccinated, negative for feline leukemia virus, litter trained and microchipped. Scoops is positive for feline immunodeficiency virus. Please don’t let that discourage you from considering adopting Scoops. FIV plus cats can live long, happy and normal lives. FIV plus cats can live with other friendly FIV plus and FIV negative cats. FIV is only transmitted between cats from deep puncture wounds typically during mating and aggressive fighting. FIV is not transmitted between cats from sharing food/water bowls or litter boxes. FIV is not transmitted between cats during mutual grooming. FIV plus cats can reside with dogs without any concerns.
