The Parkland field hockey team improved to 7-3 overall this season and 6-1 in East Penn Conference play Monday with a 12-0 win over Whitehall.
Olivia Esteban scored five goals in the win, while Lila Temchatin, Jenna Mayer and Kamryn Karrat each scored two goals. Emily Laputka had one goal against Whitehall. Averie Arnfedtl had three assists in the game, while Temchatin and Alana Vasilakos had two each. Mayer assisted on one goal.
Results from other Parkland field hockey games this season have not been received by the Press.
Halfway through the season Parkland is in a tie for third place in the East Penn Conference along with Nazareth (6-1). Emmaus (8-0) and Easton (8-1) are the top two teams in the league and the District 11 rankings, where Parkland is fourth behind Nazareth.
