The Minsi Trails Council of Scouting America hosted an overnight camp out at Shankweilers Drive-In Theatre, 4540 Shankweiler Road, Orefield, Sept. 13-14.
Cub Scouts, their families and prospective members of Scouting were invited to a night of fellowship, entertainment and Scouting adventure.
Each Scout attending received a commemorative event patch, admission to two family-friendly feature films, access to themed games and Scouting activities and overnight camping.
Scouts and families were encouraged to bring a small tent, sleeping bag and pillow, portable chairs, personal water supply and a battery-powered radio (to hear the movie audio).

This annual event draws Scouting families within the Minsi Trails Council and provides an opportunity for fellowship, entertainment and adventure. ABOVE: Families arrive and begin to find their spots for their tents.
Scouts have the opportunity to experience team building activities at the camp out.
Inflatables and other activities are available for families while they wait for the movie to start.
