The Parkland field hockey team is off to a 2-1 start to the 2025 season.
The Trojans’ three wins have come by shut out, while the one loss came against last year’s East Penn Conference and District 11 runners up Easton.
Parkland opened the season with a 13-0 win over Pleasant Valley on Aug. 25. Kamryn Karrat scored a hat trick in the game, while teammates Jenna Mayer (2), Kendall Pattishall (2), Maya Melnick (2), Sydney Sensinger, Lila Temchatin, Gabby Stewart and Alana Vasilakos also scored goals for Parkland. Mayer assisted on three of the goals in the game, while Temchatin, Olivia Esteban, Melnick and Mackenzie Kidd also recorded assists.
Parkland followed that win with a 6-1 loss to Easton on Aug. 27. The Trojans bounced back with a 5-0 win over Liberty on Aug. 29 and a 13-0 win over Bethlehem Catholic on Sept. 2.
