The “Curious Life and Mysterious Death of Edgar Allan Poe” program is set for 6:30 p.m. Oct. 7 at Whitehall Township Public Library. Learn about Poe’s tragic beginnings and doomed loves as well as the eerie genius behind his tales. Discover the haunting circumstances of his unexplained death and explore the legacy of the master of gothic horror.

Saturday storytime returns 11 a.m. Oct. 11. Join us for stories, activities and crafts for ages 3-7.

The library is offering free one-on-one appointments with a certified Medicare enrollment counselor. There are time slots 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. Mondays Oct. 20-Dec. 1.
