Wilkes University

Wilkes University awarded more than 400 bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees at its summer commencement. Greg Cant, president of Wilkes University, conferred the degrees and Neal McHugh ‘86, vice president of the Alumni Association, offered the alumni induction to the newest graduates, who joined more than 50,000 Wilkes University alumni worldwide.

The following Bethlehem area students earned their degrees: Kristen Meixell, a master’s degree in education; Maria Brody, a master’s degree in education; Jada Avery, a master’s degree in education; and Rebecca Hines, a master’s degree in education.

University of Connecticut

Two area students completed requirements for degrees and graduated from the University of Connecticut following the summer 2025 term. They are Kailey Wilson of Hanover Township, an undergraduate degree, and Abigayle Ward of Bethlehem, a graduate degree.
