The Senior Citizen Group meeting at New Life Lutheran Church, New Tripoli, heard a presentation on dealing with grief and the many faces it presents on Sept. 25.
Tom Dilts, a retired New Jersey Superior Judge and Stephen Minister discussed how grief impacts each individual in its own way, creating feelings of extreme loneliness, heartache and just plain misery.
Dilts himself recently lost his wife and was able to openly discuss the feelings it generated.
Dilts now lives in Emmaus.
The Senior Citizen group meets weekly in the church dining room to enjoy comradeship, special programming and excellent food both prepared on site and brought by group members.
