Shawn D. Brunner, 57, of Allentown, died in his home Sept. 15, 2025. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Peter J. Brunner Sr. and Faith E. (Larosh) Frey.

He graduated from William Allen High School, Class of 1989 and was employed as a dishwasher at the former Pizza Hut in Emmaus.

He is survived by a brother, Peter J. Jr.; sister, Mary Jo Loch; cousins, Joe Gruver, Bryan Gruver, Ryan Larosh, Sherry Reph Brown, Cheryl Ann Haas and many others; nieces, Kaitlyn Gruver, Destiny Klonitsko, Danniele Loch, Giovanna Severino, Isabella and Sophia Larosh; nephews, Jayden Gruver, Garret Frey and Colin Metzger; aunts, Vickie Gruver, Leona Larosh and many others; uncles, Bill Gruver, Allen “Bud” Larosh and many others.

He was predeceased by his brother, Troy V.; parents; stepfather, Herbert W. Frey Jr.; grandmothers, Lizzie and Ruth Larosh; grandfathers, Peter F. and Allen Larosh; great-grandmother, Carrie Kramer; great-grandfather, Charles Kramer; uncles, Hal “Timmy” Larosh and a few more; cousins, Matthew Gruver and a few more; aunts, Gladys Olewine and Evelyn Becker.
