Roughies Report: Submit your order for CHS Class of 2026 ring by Sept. 29

Catasauqua High School Rough Riders class rings are here! Now through Sept. 29, students can order their custom ring. Class rings can be personalized with activities, sports and different styles. Your ring will be a lasting symbol of school pride. All rings will be delivered in the fall.

Catasauqua Area School District is seeking certified and noncertified instructional aides to join its team. Aides work up to 191 days per school year.

This position is seven paid hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch at $148 per day (noncertified aides). Instructional aides provide support and assistance with the academic, behavioral, emotional and/or physical needs of the students within regular or special-education classroom environments.

Two instructional aide (certified or noncertified) positions are available at Sheckler Elementary School.

CASD has a job opportunity available for a building substitute teacher at Sheckler Elementary. Building substitutes work up to 191 days per school year. This position involves seven hours of paid work time daily, plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. A valid state teaching certificate is required.

Compensation is $150 per day.

Building substitutes report to their assigned school every day throughout the school year. They are responsible for following lesson plans and providing support and assistance with the academic, behavioral, emotional and/or physical needs of the students within regular or special-education classroom environments.

One building substitute position is available.
