Ronald R. Cortright, 82, of Whitehall Township, died Sept. 12, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. He was the husband of Alice M. (Sterling) Cortright for 56 years.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Robert C. and Emma Mae (Kocher) Cortright.

He was employed in the custodial services department of Walmart, in Whitehall, until retiring. Earlier, he worked in the same capacity for the former Two Guys from Harrison Department Store, Whitehall. He also worked in the frozen food department of Weis Markets, Whitehall and Allentown, and for the former Newhart’s Foods.

He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Coplay.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Joshua D. of Whitehall; a sister, Shirley and husband Richard Berger of Shenandoah; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother, Bernard.

Services will be at the convenience of the family.
