Robert Salasky Jr., 76, of Emmaus, died Sept. 15, 2025, at EverTrue Luther Crest, Allentown. He was the husband of Melanie J. (Weaver) Salasky, with whom he shared 41 years of marriage. Born in Oceanside, Calif., he was the son of the late Robert and Doreen (Suter) Salasky.

He served in the U.S. Coast Guard during the Vietnam Era.

He previously attended The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, Emmaus.

For many years, he worked as a project engineer at PPL Electric Utilities before retiring.

He was a past zoning and hearing board member for Upper Milford Township and he enjoyed woodworking and gardening.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Heather L., of Springfield, Va.; brother, Leonard. He was predeceased by his brothers David and Gary.
