Henry E. Snyder, 82, of Allentown, died Sept. 9, 2025, at home. He was the husband of Dern (Snyder) Snyder for 62 years in June. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Elwood and Elsie (Muth) Snyder.

He was a floor layer for Owen M. Bastian Inc. for 38 years and a member of the United Carpenters Union 600 for 37 years.

He was a member of Valleyview Baptist Church of Northampton.

He enjoyed classic car shows and drawing with his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by son, Eric (Sharon), of Allentown; daughter, Lori Gava (David), of Stockertown; grandchildren, Sadie and Levi and Matthew and Luke Gava.

He was predeceased by siblings, Frederick and Eleanor Lakatosh.
