Ellen Frantz, 71, of Whitehall, died Sept. 5, 2025, at home. She was the wife of Robert M. Frantz Jr. for more than 50 years.

Born in Wiesbaden, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Elise Leaman.

She worked for more than 40 years at Astound, formerly RCN, and Twin County Cable, before retiring.

She is survived by a son, Robert M. III and wife Jessica L. of Slatington; a brother, Bill Leaman; three sisters, Roberta Hess, Susan Leaman and Diane Leaman; two grandchildren, Jalyn and Shawn Synder-Frantz; three great-grandchildren, Alora Renee Settle-Frantz and Cole and Cora Stauffer-Frantz; and numerous cousins, nephews, nieces and in-laws.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Jennifer L.; and a sister, Mary Leaman.

Services will be private at the convenience of her family.
