Denise M. Scheffler, 61, of Macungie, died Sept. 5, 2025, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Allentown. She was the daughter of Betty (Holben) Scheffler and the late George Scheffler.

She graduated from Emmaus High School in 1982.

She dedicated many years of her career to Gold Toe, JCPenney and Mack Trucks, ultimately concluding her professional journey at GXO Logistics.

Beyond work, she was a nationally recognized player in women’s fast-pitch softball and continued her support of the Lehigh Valley softball community throughout her life.

An enthusiastic reader and devoted movie lover, she always found joy in great stories.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her aunt, Cindy Poniktera; uncle, Wayne Hyrowich; nephews, Jason Redman (Jacqueline), Randolph Redman II (Leigh); great nieces, Ella, Scarlett and Sophia.

She was predeceased by a sister, Sharon Redman.

A Celebration of Life event will be held 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 26 at the Hills at Lock Ridge Park, 7125 Scenic View Drive, Macungie.
