East Allen Township will be holding a trunk or treat, set for 6-8 p.m. Oct. 25 at Bicentennial Park West. Any decorated cars must arrive by 5:15 p.m. and participants must be ready to give out candy by 6 p.m.

Plan to stay for the whole event. There will be prizes for best costume and best trunk. There will be kids crafts and a costume parade, with pets included.

Looking ahead: East Allen Township Recreation Department is planning trips in December. The first will be Dec. 6 to see “Deck the Halls” at American Music Theatre, with lunch at Hershey Farms.

The other trip is to a Hallmark Christmas convention Dec. 13 at New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center in Edison, N.J. Meet your favorite movie stars from the Hallmark network.
