Sandra Lee (Weiss) Muschlitz, 78, formerly of Hellertown, of Cape Coral Florida, died at her residence Sept. 12. Born in Easton, she was a daughter of Bessie (White) Weiss and George A. Weiss. She was the wife of the Honorable Benajmin F. Muschlitz, former mayor of the Borough of Hellertown, for 55 years.

She was a Hellertown HS graduate and studied accounting and finance at Churchman’s Business College.

She was an accounting associate at Packaging Corporation of America until her retirement in 2008. She was a past president of the Saucon Valley Jaycettes,the GFWC Women’s Club of Hellertown and the Bethlehem City Council of Beta Sigma Phi sorority, of which she was a member. She served on the Saucon Valley Community Center board. She was a member of the Lehigh Valley Muscular Dystrophy Association. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. Hellertown.
