Andrews picked to lead Hanover
The Bethlehem Area School District has announce that Ralph Andrews has been selected as the next principal of Hanover ES, pending school board approval at its Sept. 22 meeting.
Andrews brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to student success. He is currently serving as the elementary principal for both Parkside Education Center and S.S. Palmer ES in the Palmerton Area School District, a position he has held since 2021. During his tenure, he has been recognized for fostering strong school communities, advancing academic initiatives, and supporting both students and staff in meaningful ways.
Before that, Andrews served as assistant principal at Roberto Clemente Charter School in Allentown, where he worked closely with middle school students and staff to create a supportive and inclusive educational environment.
Andrews began his career in education as a classroom teacher in the Palmerton Area School District, teaching Grade 6 as well as Grade 8 mathematics.
In addition to his professional experience, Andrews holds multiple degrees in education. He earned a master of education in Educational Leadership from Cabrini University, a master of science in classroom technology from Wilkes University, and a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Penn State University. His academic background reflects a strong foundation in both instructional practice and school leadership.
“We are excited to welcome Mr. Andrews to Hanover Elementary,” said Dr. Jack P. Silva, superintendent of schools. “His leadership experience, instructional expertise, and dedication to positive school culture make him an excellent fit for our BASD school community.”
