Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, 1343 Long Lane Road, Kutztown, will hold an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner 4-7 p.m. The meal includes salad bar, dessert and beverage. Take out is also available. Saara Arts is hosting its eighth annual India Heritage Day 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Allentown Arts Park, 24 N. 5th St. This free festival celebrates India’s rich cultural traditions through music, dance, art, and cuisine. This year’s theme spotlights India’s vibrant textiles, culminating in a colorful saree fashion show. There will also be family activities and raffle prizes. City and federal leaders will also be in attendance, including Allentown Mayor Matthew “Matt” Tuerk and representatives from Congressman McKenzie’s office. The Sanctuary at Haafsville is holding a Dine and Donate event 11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. at P.J. Wheliham’s Pub and Restaurant, Allentown. Take-out or dine-in available. Sept. 23

Emmaus Garden Club will present “Bounty In Bloom,” a club flower show 2-7 p.m. at Faith Presbyterian Church, 3002 N. Second St., Emmaus. This event is free and open to the public.

Kempton Community Center, 82 Community Center Drive, Kempton, will be holding ping pong practices 6-8 p.m. Additional practices will be held Oct. 2 and 14. A KCC membership is required.

Sept. 24

The Sanctuary in partnership with the Young Professionals Council with the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce will be holding a Yappy Hour Fundraising Meet and Greet 5:30-7:30 p.m. Sept. 24 at Rising River Brewing, 1955 Willow Lane, Macungie. There will be refreshing craft brews, networking and adorable dogs and good vibes. It is free to attend. Bring your dog for a small fee. Sept. 27

South Whitehall Community Day will be held 4-8 p.m. at Covered Bridge Park, 2426 Lapp Road, Allentown. Live music from “Flirtin’ with the Mob” will be presented 6-8 p.m. A vendor trail, various kids’ entertainment, face painting, junior firefighter games, CPR and safety skills, crafts and food trucks will also be available. Roast beef dinner at Jordan UCC, 1837 Church Road, Allentown, 4-7 p.m.There is a cost; children under 6 will enjoy a meal at no charge.

A Crazy About Quilting Celebration, presented by the Crazy Quilters Quilt Guild, is being held 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 4601 Tilghman St., Allentown. See a display of over 100 quilts and quilted items, the sale of handmade quilted articles and recycled “stash” items and quilting demonstrations. Food will also be available. The Trojan Alumni Varsity Clubs October membership meeting 6 p.m. at the HOPS-Fogelsville Hotel, 7921 Main St., Fogelsville. Ed Olson Sr., Parkland girls head basketball coach and Ed Olson Jr, Parkland boys head basketball coach will be the main speakers. There is a cost for the meal.
