Catasauqua Area School District has a second-shift job opportunity available for custodian B. This position is responsible for performing routine and extensive janitorial duties in conjunction with Department of Health standards.

General duties include, but are not limited to, cleaning and sanitation of the building, sweeping, dusting, wet mopping, vacuuming, changing light bulbs, throwing trash from garbage cans, unblocking clogged lines, restocking restrooms and assisting with the preparation and operation of high school extracurricular activities as needed.

The counseling program is one of the special services provided for each student of Catasauqua High School.

All students are encouraged to meet with a counselor whenever they need to discuss matters of personal adjustment related to areas of educational, vocational or social issues. Students are encouraged to take advantage of the many resources located in the counseling office.

During each school year, counselors meet with individual students, small groups and entire classes to discuss matters/lead lessons on conflict resolution, mental wellness and study habits, while also discussing career exploration and college/vocational preparation. Students are encouraged to share all of the information they receive with their parents/guardians.

Parents/guardians are encouraged, through the use of scheduled appointments, telephone calls and email, to take full advantage of all school counseling services.
