Parents/guardians are responsible to monitor devices while off school hours. Please be aware and check what your child is searching on their Chromebook.
The device is managed by the GoGuardian system while on the district campus but not when they are off the district’s Wi-Fi.
To protect against accidental damage to student Chromebooks, Whitehall-Coplay School District is offering a $15 voluntary technology fee for the 2025-26 school year. The window to pay the fee is open through Sept. 19. The coverage period will run from the date of payment through June 30, 2026.
The technology fee may be paid online using MySchoolBucks or by making a cash payment in the main office.
If the technology fee is paid, the first accident requiring a repair will be covered. The second accident during the same year will result in a charge of the cost of the repair to a maximum of $50. The third accident requiring repair will result in the entire cost of the repair being charged to the student.
Families that opt out of the technology fee will be responsible for repair or replacement costs for any damage incurred.
