Heintzelman-Stephens Funeral Home offers an evening of celebration

An event was held in August to celebrate an evening of summer fun and the new association of Heintzelman Funeral Home and Stephens Funeral Home.

“The story of the Stephens Funeral Home Family and the Heintzelman Funeral Home Family is one deeply rooted in tradition, mentorship and a shared commitment of dignity, honor, respect and reverence,” the families said.

“This next chapter is a partnership that embodies the merging of two families who have always prioritized exceptional care for the families we serve.

“Together as a team, new owners, Erin and Matt Heintzelman are committed to honoring the past, serving the present and preparing for the future by the combined values of both families into a unified vision of compassionate service.”

The new name for the business is Heintzelman-Stephens Funeral Home, P.C. with locations at 274 N. Krocks Road, Allentown, 326 Main St., Hellertown and 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville.

The team ready to serve includes Matthew Stephens, Jennifer Heiser, Anthony Richter, Sandra Lois Brink, Rodney Koch, Lisa Koch, Matthew Heintzelman, Erin Heintzelman, David Heintzelman and Robert Heintzelman. And of course, Sammy, the therapy dog.

The celebratory event in August included food from Smokehouse Barbecue and Udder Bar Ice Cream and a special performance by Macungie Band.

Supporters were asked to bring a canned food item to help support Parkland CARES Food Pantry.
