Burglary

Someone removed a 55-60 inch LG television from a location along Hauser Road, Lower Macungie Township, between 10 p.m. Aug. 26 and 9:45 a.m. Aug. 27, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The thief used an unlocked window to get in the building, according to authorities.

DUI

A motorist, of Miami, Fla., was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence and having a small amount of marijuana after a traffic stop in the area of Chestnut Street and South Cedar Crest Boulevard, Emmaus borough, 1:37 a.m. Aug. 23, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A motorist, of Allentown, was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop in the 200 block of Main Street, Emmaus borough, 12:57 a.m. Aug. 17, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

DUI crashes

A motorist, of Alburtis, allegedly was driving under the influence in a one-vehicle crash on U.S. 222 near North Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 7:45 a.m. July 6, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The motorist was traveling west when their vehicle went off the road, struck a guide wire, continued across the eastbound lanes, exited the road for a second time and hit an embankment, according to authorities.

A motorist, of Center Valley, allegedly was driving under the influence in a two-vehicle collision along South Cedar Crest Boulevard near Riverbend Road, Lower Macungie Township, 11:47 a.m. June 30, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Macungie Ambulance Corps also responded.

A motorist, of Gilbertsville, allegedly was driving under the influence in a two-vehicle collision along Chestnut Street near its intersection with Fountain Road, Upper Milford Township, 10:06 p.m. Aug. 12, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Other responding agencies included Macungie Ambulance Corps and Detweiler’s Towing.

A motorist, of Quakertown, allegedly was driving under the influence in a one-vehicle rollover crash in the 1500 block of Wind Hill Road, Lower Milford Township, 11:10 p.m. Aug. 23, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The motorist was “traveling at a high rate of speed” when the vehicle traveled onto the property of a residence where it struck pole wires, causing the vehicle to overturn. The driver was taken by Upper Saucon Ambulance Corps to Lehigh Valley Hospital, according to authorities.

Harassment

Someone allegedly confronted a motorist for driving a Tesla in a parking lot at Weis Markets, 3440 Grandview Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 9:17 p.m. Aug. 17, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 15-year-old female, of Lower Macungie Township, told state police one of her coworkers kissed her without her consent, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported April 8.

A 17-year-old female, of Upper Milford Township, told state police she was harassed while at work, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported April 12.

A 59-year-old male, of Lower Macungie Township, told state police about a dispute with a relative over family issues, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported April 8.

Identity theft

A resident of Grange Road, Lower Macungie Township, learned an AT&T account was opened in his name, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported June 24.

Theft

A resident of North Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, was swindled out of $186 in a cyber theft, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported June 26.

Found property

A cellphone found in the area of Dartmouth Drive and Spring Ridge Drive West, Lower Macungie Township, was turned in at the state police station 1 p.m. Aug. 23, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Lost wallet

A wallet containing a Pennsylvania driver’s license and other documents was lost at retailer Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 8:10 p.m. Aug. 24, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville who responded to the store.

Criminal mischief

Three people allegedly smashed three light fixtures by throwing rocks in the area of Farmington Drive, Lower Macungie Township, overnight Aug. 20, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Damage was estimated at $200.

Crashes

A truck driver, of New York, escaped injury when his truck tractor overturned in a crash at the intersection of state Route 100 and Spring Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 5:50 p.m. Aug. 15, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A motorist, of New Tripoli, escaped injury when his sport utility vehicle crashed through a chain-link fence and struck the back porch of a house in the 4000 block of Indian Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 7:13 p.m. July 29, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The motorist was attempting a right turn when he lost control of the vehicle and went down an embankment before hitting the fence and house, according to authorities. Yocum Towing and Recovery removed the vehicle from the backyard.

An Allentown motorist escaped injury when her sport utility vehicle struck a fence and utility pole before crashing into two parked vehicles in a crash in the area of Brookside Road and the 5500 block of North Walnut Street, Lower Macungie Township, 8:20 p.m. Aug. 20, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The motorist was turning left onto Brookside Road when she lost control of the vehicle and went off the right side of the road, hitting a wood fence on the property of a residence. The vehicle then crashed into a utility pole before entering the backyard of the residence where the two parked vehicles were struck. Getz Towing also responded.
