DUI

A male motorist, of Landing, N.J., was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence in the 3200 block of Douglas Road Aug. 23, according to Salisbury police. The male allegedly was seen driving a vehicle through a yard where the vehicle struck trees and two trailers. Police found an open bottle of vodka inside the motorist’s vehicle, according to authorities.

Assault investigation

A female, of Coopersburg, reported being assaulted by a male, of Macungie, in the 3200 block of West Emmaus Avenue, Salisbury Township, Aug. 23, according to Salisbury police.

Stolen vehicle recovered

An unattended stolen motor vehicle was found at South Mall, 3300 Lehigh St., Aug. 25, according to Salisbury police, The vehicle was impounded by police, according to authorities.

Terroristic threats

A male, of Salisbury Township, was charged with alleged terroristic threats and harassment after police were called to a location in the 900 block of Sour Apple Lane for a disturbance Aug. 24, according to Salisbury police.

Simple possession

A male, of Macungie, was charged with alleged simple possession and possession of drug paraphernalia at Lehigh Valley Hospital, South Cedar Crest Boulevard, Aug. 26, according to Salisbury police. The male allegedly had two pipes and fentanyl, a synthetic opioid.

Missing person

Salisbury officers responded to Lehigh Valley Hospital, South Cedar Crest Boulevard, Aug. 30 for a missing 75-year-old male, of Coplay, who suffers from dementia, according to Salisbury police. Salisbury officers, with the help of South Whitehall Township Police, soon found the male who was unharmed.

Fight

Officers were called to Lehigh Valley Hospital, South Cedar Crest Boulevard, for two patients fighting Aug. 24, according to Salisbury police. No arrests were made.

Driving without a license

A male, of Bethlehem, was cited for operating a vehicle without a driver’s license after police were called to the 1500 block of Broadway for an accident involving a front wheel falling off a moving van Aug. 27, according to Salisbury police.

Unwanted person

Officers responded to LVHN Express Care, 1161 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., Aug. 26 for an unwanted person in the parking lot of the facility. The person left the area without incident after talking with police, according to authorities.

Neighbor dispute

Officers were called to the 1400 block of Salisbury Road for a neighbor dispute about feeding wild birds Aug. 30, according to Salisbury police.

Disturbance

Salisbury officers responded to the 1400 block of Fretz Avenue for a disturbance Aug. 26, according to Salisbury police. No arrests were made.

Salisbury officers responded to Commix Hotel, 3245 W. Emaus Ave., for a disturbance Aug. 23 where a male told officers he was struck in the head by a female who had a gun, according to Salisbury police. Officers checked the area and people on scene for weapons but no firearms were located. No arrests were made.

Salisbury officers responded to the 400 block of East Emmaus Avenue for a disturbance Aug. 29, according to Salisbury police. No arrests were made.

Attempted bank fraud

A resident of the 700 block of East Emmaus Avenue told police of an attempted online bank fraud Aug. 28, according to Salisbury police.

Abandoned dog

Officers responded to the 1000 block of Graham Street after someone in a gray van was seen allegedly intentionally abandoning a dog Aug. 30, according to Salisbury police. The dog was not harmed and is currently being fostered, according to authorities. Traffic detail

Officers conducted a traffic safety speed enforcement detail through an aggressive driving grant in the 2600-3000 block of South Pike Avenue Aug. 26, according to Salisbury police. A total of 91 traffic stops took place resulting in 87 traffic citations issued, according to authorities.
