During the Aug. 21 Lower Macungie Board of Commissioners meeting, Resolution 2025-36 was approved.

The resolution is a modification of a previous land development project involving the 2022 Spring Creek Estates plan. The location of this town house project is 6159 Stein Way and 1225 Danner Road, which borders Lower Macungie Road near the Trexler Mall. The resolution is allowing four additional town houses.

Resolution 2025-37 was approved. This resolution pertains to Regional Act 537-PA which is mandating regional planning for sewage disposal and preventing future problems with sewage systems.

Minutes from the previous board of commissioners meeting also were approved.

Budget workshops have been scheduled for Oct. 8 and 22 and Oct. 29 and Nov. 5 if needed.

All workshops are scheduled to begin 6 p.m.

Lower Macungie Community Center hosted the first Coffee with the Commissioners event 9-10 a.m. Sept. 6. The event is scheduled Saturdays, with the exceptions of Nov. 29 and Dec. 27, through the end of the year. The next coffee event is scheduled 9-10 a.m. Sept. 13.

The Lower Macungie Township Board of Commissioners regular meetings are temporarily moved to the Lower Macungie Community Center Sept. 18 and Oct. 2 due to maintenance to be done in the township building.
