Larry Earl Braker Sr., 73, of Northampton, died Aug. 28, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. He was the husband of Gloria D. (Searfass) Braker for 34 years.

Born in Catasauqua, he was the son of the late Bernhard and Elda (Wisser) Braker.

He was career military member and served in the U.S. Navy for 20 years during the Iraq War, 1986-2006.

He was a lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and Catasauqua American Legion Post 215.

He was a longtime member of Salem United Church of Christ, Catasauqua, where he served as deacon.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by six children, Larry E. Jr., Victoria York with Gary, Kelly, Bobby with Jessica, Anthony Dunlap with partner Karen and Tonya Dunlap-Lundy with John; three sisters, Dorothy Miller, Maryann Fehr with Gerald Littenwaller and Kathy Miller with James; 19 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by two brothers, Barney and Allen.
