Catasauqua American Legion Post 215, 330 Second St., will hold its first breakfast of the season 8-11 a.m. Sept. 14. You can order all of your favorites right off the breakfast menu.

Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church’s food pantry would like to thank all for their donations. Some of the people who come to the pantry doors are homeless and have no refrigeration or cooking facilities, or they live in a rooming house were they only have access to a microwave at best.

Individual, nonperishable meals continue to be needed, especially individual Dinty Moore, cup of soups and macaroni and cheese that can be cooked just by adding hot water or in a microwave. Personal care items, such as toilet paper, shampoo, body wash, etc., are also needed

Items can be placed on the offering table in the back of the sanctuary.
