Sportsman’s night at Lappawinzo Fish and Game Association, 25 Lappawinzo Road, Allen Township, will be held Oct. 4. Doors open 5 p.m.

Tickets include entry into drawings, as well as food and beverages. Drawings are 7-10 p.m.

Governor Wolf Historical Society, 6600 Jacksonville Road, East Allen Township, offers free tours of its three buildings, grounds and new museum 1-3 p.m. on the third Saturday of each month — April through November. No reservations are needed.

Knowledgeable guides will discuss the history of each building.

GWHS hosts crafters 10 a.m.-noon the first and third Thursdays in the meeting room of the Monocacy School.

No registration is needed.

Everyone is welcome and can work on whatever craft desired. Bring your project, a drink and perhaps a snack.

A $5 donation is requested to defray facility costs.

Looking ahead: East Allen Township Recreation Department is planning trips in December. The first will be Dec. 6 to see “Deck the Halls” at American Music Theatre, with lunch at Hershey Farms.

The other trip is to a Hallmark Christmas convention Dec. 13 at New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center in Edison, N.J. Meet your favorite movie stars from the Hallmark network.
