James C. Strawn, 78, died Aug. 28, 2025. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Robert and Anna (Willhelm) Strawn. He was the husband of Valeria A. (Evans) Strawn for more than 20 years.

He was a combat veteran in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

He worked in construction with Bethlehem Fabricators, Posh Construction and L.V. Installers. He was an avid outdoorsman.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Jacob J. and his wife Sheila Ehret; a grandson, James Robert Strawn; and a sister, Barbara Strawn.
