Upper Macungie Township will show the movie “Sonic the Hedgehog 3” (PG) Sept. 12 at Lone Lane Park.

All local fire departments will be on-site to interact with the community and kids.

Come on out and enjoy yard games, inflatables and more.

The pre-movie activities will start 5:30 p.m. and the movie will start as soon as the sun goes down.

The township will hold its Grub and Groove at Grange series 5-8 p.m. Thursdays until Sept. 25 in the parking lot Pavilion No. 1 at Grange Park, 360 Grange Road.

Come out and enjoy various food trucks and music.

Upper Macungie Township has partnered with Wildlands Conservancy to invite individuals and families to partake in its Family Fun with Wildlands Conservancy 4-5 p.m. Sept. 20.

The next program is a Nature Walk Tour of Wildlands Conservancy Headquarters, 3701 Orchid Place, Emmaus.

Tour the Wildlands headquarters to learn about the ins and outs of daily operations.

Catch up with some of their animal residents and learn about their unique stories that connected them with the Wildlands.

There is a small cost to participants.

St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1028 Church St., Fogelsville, will hold its Rally Day 9 a.m. Sept. 14 in the Fellowship Hall.

Parents, please register your children for the new Sunday school year (registration forms can be found in the narthex).

They will have classes for toddlers through adults. Sunday school classes will be held 9:30 a.m. beginning Sept. 21.

They are looking for volunteers who may be interested in being teachers or helpers for the upcoming year.

Harvest Home will also take place Sept. 14. If you are interested in contributing to the display, please have your canned goods and produce to the church by 9 a.m. Sept. 13.

All proceeds and other donations will be given to the local food bank.

The church’s next community free dinner sponsored by Ladies Aid will be held 5 p.m. Sept. 19 while supplies last.

Morgenland Church, 3120 Weidasville Road, Orefield, will hold a picnic 4-8 p.m. Sept. 6.

The band Midnight Special sponsored by Heintzelman Funeral Home will perform 5-8 p.m.

There will be a cake walk, basket raffle, great food and fellowship.
