LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

Parkland students wait for their first bus ride of the 2025-26 school year

The weather was beautiful for the first day of school in the Parkland School District on Aug. 25, though some students weren’t very enthusiastic about the end of summer.

Students were headed to all the district schools, Parkland High School, Springhouse and Orefield middle schools, Cetronia, Kratzer, Kernsville, Ironton, Jaindl, Fogelsville and Veterans elementary schools.

Teachers, administrators and school staff were prepped and ready for the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year.
