Crowning Achievement: Fair queen named

It was a beautiful first day for The Great Allentown Fair Aug. 27. The fair opening ceremony was held in the Farmerama Theater. Later in the evening, the Farmerama Arena was the venue for the Allentown Fair Queen Contest. The contestants were Faith Smith, of New Tripoli; Catalina Ocasio, of Allentown, Olivia Wisser, of New Tripoli and Cyani Gonzalez, of Allentown. And it’s official, as the ribbon flies, The Great Allentown Fair 2025 is open! Lehigh County Agricultural Society President Dale Urmy; Pa. Department of Community and Economic Development Representative Fadia Halma, Allentown Fair Queen 2024 Zoie Jones, Allentown Mayor Matt Tuerk, LCAS Chairman/CEO Beverly Gruber and Lehigh County Executive and Master of Ceremonies Phillips Armstrong cut the ribbon.
Allentown’s Catalina Ocasio, The Great Allentown Fair Queen contestant, looks stunning in her red dress and remarkable hair. She was first runner-up in the contest during The Great Allentown Fair held at the Allentown Fairgrounds, Aug. 27.
