The highlight of their visit will be a concert 7:30 p.m. Sept. 20 in the church sanctuary. The concert is open to the public, with a freewill offering to support the ensemble. In addition to Saturday evening’s concert, the Barnstormers will also serve as the guest choir during the 10:30 a.m. worship service Sept. 21. Founded in 1946, the Barnstormers Men’s Chorus brings together talented male vocalists from across the northeast for three musical weekends each year. Known for their stirring renditions of patriotic anthems, spirituals, traditional folk songs and selections from musical theater, the Barnstormers offer a powerful and uplifting musical experience. This marks the Barnstormers’ debut performance at Jordan United Church of Christ and the congregation is eager to extend a warm and enthusiastic welcome.
