Zephyr Roundup Field hockey team gets win
The Whitehall field hockey team picked up another win, knocking off East Stroudsburg South 8-0.
Kerigan Dreisbach and Molly McFetridge each notched a hat trick in the win.
It was Dreisbach who got things started with a goal on an assist from Evelyn Hudak. Hudak would then set up McFetridge to make it 2-0.
Arianna Attieh made it 3-0 on a pass from Sarah Mullin, then Dreisbach assisted McFetridge to make it 4-0.
Josie Shultz, Dreisbach, McFetridge and Dreisbach again all scored unassisted to complete the scoring.
Whitehall lost a close game to Freedom, 1-0.
Zoey Napolitano scored the game’s only goal to give the Pates the win.
In their most recent game, the team fell to Stroudsburg 4-0 on Tuesday.
The Mounties got two goals from Peyton Witmer to take a 2-0 lead that would hold up. Leanna Nero and Skyler Neri scored the team’s fourth goal. Darby Rusk had two assists in the win.

The boys soccer team lost to Emmaus 6-0.
Six different scorers recorded goals for the Hornets: Brennan Stack, Shaw Cook, Austen Breisch, Anthony Suida, Maseyn Muthard, Gabriel Reyes. Canyon Reinhardt notched two assists while Strack, Breisch and Noah Tintle each had one assist.
Cole Richards made four saves in the loss for WHS.

The girls soccer team fell to Emmaus 1-0.
Ella Scharper scored in the first OT for the winning goal and Sadie Wallace made six saves in the win for the Hornets.
Whitehall Keeper Cora Mussleman kept her team in the game with 16 saves in the loss.

The golf team fell to Pocono Mountain East 437-390 at the Twin Lakes par-71 course.
Chris Gerhart led the way with a 76 for PME and teammate Maddie VanBuskirk shot 77.
Jack Lloyd led the Zephs also shooting a 77.
The Stroudsburg Golf team shot their best score of the season, 396, as they defeated Whitehall 407 at home last week.
The top-five Stroudsburg scores that counted were all personal bests: Phil Yetter and Zach Fritz both shot 76, Chris Tretheway and Jack Jasionowicz each fired 81, while Collin O’Connor had 82.
For Whitehall, Brett Cohan shot 70, Chase Miller 79, Jack Lloyd 80, Kevin Fritz 88 while Logan Shean and Jordan Rex had 90s. Mason Nomie had a 95 and Zach Kresge a 97.

The Whitehall tennis team fell to Pleasant Valley, 4-3.
Marilyn Ogunsemore was a 3-6, 6-1, 7-5 winner over Breslin Beck at three singles.
Hope Warren fell at one singles in a close 4-6, 6-4, 7-5 contest and Elena Attieh lost at two singles.
Grace Ruta and Maddy Berg won at three doubles 6-1, 6-1 and Elina Dabboura and Lamitta Layous were winners at four doubles 6-1, 6-0.
Alyssa Collazo and Maya Sankari lost at two doubles.
Ogunsemore and Angelina Ramirez fell at one doubles 8-2.
